Since his days as a student at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi, Saud Al Nowais dreamed of a future in the US. In 2009, his dream became reality when he received a call to lead the Trade and Commercial Office at the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC. As Commercial Attaché, Al Nowais found himself at the heart of a burgeoning trade and economic relationship that has doubled over the last 14 years and made the UAE the US’ top trading partner in the Middle East region. For over a decade, he has traveled across the US supporting trade delegations, building bonds with American community leaders and business partners, and sharing insights from the UAE along the way.
