The vice chair of the Middle East Institute and former chair of the World Affairs Council of Dallas-Fort Worth is a passionate advocate for building a UAE-Texas relationship that spans everything from education and space exploration to health, youth soccer, and even an eye-opening UAE visit for then Texas governor Rick Perry. Today, the Lone Star State is the number one exporter to the UAE. Though proud of the close economic and diplomatic ties she has helped cultivate, Adams is most grateful for the long-lasting UAE-US friendships she formed along the way. Hear from Adams about building a UAE-US partnership based on trust, shared values, and a pursuit of the impossible.
