Dr. Sarah Abu-Alreesh's journey to become a pediatric gastroenterologist has taken her from Sharjah and Abu Dhabi to Honolulu and New Haven. After completing a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition at Yale School of Medicine, she further honed her skills through a clinical fellowship in advanced nutrition at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Abu-Alreesh plans to return to the UAE to conduct research focused on the pediatric population in the region, while continuing to collaborate with US physicians to contribute to the advancement of new pediatric GI literature.
