As a young Emirati growing up between the United States, Maisoon Al Saleh credits everything from American holidays to Saturday morning cartoons for developing her appreciation for different cultures and artistic mediums. Now, as an adult, and with over 100 exhibitions and eight solo shows in 20 countries, the Emirati visual artist and entrepreneur is just getting started. From creating artwork underwater to painting cityscape murals in Dubai, Al Saleh has showcased her works around the globe and captures the UAE’s diverse, vibrant arts scene, as well as her adopted American roots. Al Saleh continues to work with US partners like Agora Gallery in New York City to exhibit worldwide.
